  • This is a long overdue review. Nora DJ'd our wedding last summer and was fantastic! She got the whole group dancing, gave us great intros, and was super easy to work with. Nora did an amazing job mixing from one song to the next, and was a big step above the DJs at all of the weddings we've been to this summer. She also came prepared with all sorts of extras and fun ideas, from coordinating her set-up with our wedding decor, and making us a set of personalized t-shirts! Highly recommend!
  • We had Nora DJ our wedding at the Blue Heron in Sunderland, and she did a wonderful job. When we had first contacted each other, I had absolutely no idea what went into planning for a wedding DJ. Luckily though, DJour Entertainment has a great and thorough form to fill out that covers everything from first dance to if/how you want the centerpieces given away. We also had several phone meetings to ensure that everything was covered, to go over the time lines, and so she could get a general idea of who we are and what we wanted. We didn't have very many "must play" tracks but rather gave her an idea of the kind of music we like (also on the form), and she did a great job. The cocktail hour background music was perfect for mingling, the dinner music was very pleasant, and the dancing music was a lot of fun. She made sure to keep an eye on us to ensure we were enjoying the selections, and at our request, hid the microphone after the first toasts. The volume was perfect for the space and the sound quality was excellent.
  • I met Nora and DJour Entertainment on a Bridal show in Boston when I was still looking for our DJ. First thing that call my attention was her logo. Simple but very cute kind of Etsy, Pinterest stamp like with headphones and red lips. I chatted a little Nora and I really like her energy right away. And we were extremely happy to have pick her to be our DJ. Since I am Brazilian and we both enjoy Brazilian music we wanted to have some songs and bossa nova tunes in our wedding and Nora was able to find and play my favorites songs, and some that we haven't picked but matched perfectly with our selection and day. Everyone had a great time. It was so pleasing to see all my friends and family dancing and having a great time. Thank you DJour Entertainment , you were a big part in making our wedding day perfect!
  • DJour Entertainment DJ’d my surprise 40th birthday party. It was professional, high quality, and fabulous music! We didn’t have any specific requests, but somehow, Nora knew the right music to play to keep the party hopping for hours! She read the eclectic crowd well, changing the type of music at just the right times to keep the party guests happy. From babies to grandparents, the celebrators were happy with our entertainment all evening!
  • I can’t recommend Nora highly enough. I actually just got off the phone with my father who was RAVING about what a good time him and his older friends had. My husband and I had a great time with our friends, but seeing all the other generations dancing was truly a testament to how Nora can get a crowd moving. I think that her being new to weddings was actually a strength. She doesn’t have the overwhelming “radio DJ” presence that some wedding DJs have. She was low key, the introductions were to the point and she felt like part of the party rather than some person behind a ton of unnecessary equipment. Additionally, we had a few family members that asked to sing at the reception. Nora acquired the music and was perfect with setting them up for a perfect singing experience. Just some background, my husband and I are very chill. We had a vintage style wedding with a lot of old swing, 50s dancing music and a few modern hits as well. We had 80 people at our wedding and were looking for a very low key DJ. We didn’t need showy lights, big equipment or anything flashy. It all worked out perfectly!
  • Nora and DJour Entertainment... I can't thank you enough for donating your time and services yesterday to host a Dance Party for my Special Needs program! The kids really enjoyed dancing all morning and were still talking about it today! You were fantastic and really knew how to interact with the students!
  • Nora was absolutely fantastic! She played great music all night long and the dance floor was never empty. Everything was perfect. Wouldn't change a thing.
  • Nora was the best DJ! We loved every minute of the music she played! Everyone had a blast and that was largely in part to the awesome music she played and the great vibe she set. Thank you a million times over
